Helping Members

The CAEF Board of Governors is continually looking for opportunities to support member education.

A key area of supporting member education is focused on supporting CA educators – those who teach the bright young minds of the future CAs.  As noted on Helping Faculty, the development and hosting of the biennual Accounting Educators' Symposium is a major effort helping members.

Another new venture in 2008 has been funding the development and initial offering of a course called “Not-for-Profit Governance – What’s New”.  The objective of this seminar was to provide CAs with an update on best practices in not-for-profit governance for charitable organizations and an opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges in their not-for-profit work with peers.
